Weapons Weapon NameĢ items: When you deal damage with Flurry, your single target damage over time abilities used within 4 seconds gain 39-1690 Spell and Weapon Damage.Ģ perfected items: Adds 2-103 Weapon and Spell DamageĢ items: Increases the damage Wall of Elements deals by 29-1250.Ģ perfected items: Adds 27-1190 Offensive PenetrationĢ items: Dealing damage with Critical Charge causes enemies to bleed for 1166 Bleed Damage over 10 seconds. Weapons can also be awarded to players who successfully rank on the weekly Maelstrom Arena leaderboard. Perfected Maelstrom weapons drop on Veteran difficulty while non-perfected Maelstrom weapons drop on Normal difficulty. Maelstrom weapons are available by defeating the last boss of the Maelstrom Arena. Also dots damage on tick, so once you swap to frontbar, your existing dots will still get those stat bonuses from your frontbar 5piece.Maelstrom Weapons are a special weapon set that drops in the Maelstrom Arena. Like let's say you're using mother's sorrow and Maelstrom, you lose the MS buff on the Maelstrom backbar, so you'll have slightly less crit while putting your dots down, but when you've got them down and switch to frontbar, you have both the MS 5piece, plus the maelstrom 2piece effects running, to use your most powerful damaging abilities, your spammables with all buffs running. SO you basically have a free set bonus, along with two 5 piece bonuses, and 1 monster set bonus. So you backbar the vMA staffs, toss your wall down, switch to front bar, and all your light attacks will still be buffed even while you're using whatever frontbar damage staff you're running for the 5piece bonus. Once you toss the Wall of Elements down, it buffs your light attacks on anything standing in it, as long as they are standing in that particular cast of Wall, not as long as you are on that bar. The skill in question boosting your damage is wall of elements, which most mag builds use as a dot. Here is the reason why the staffs in particular are BiS for magika chars. There's almost no market for unmaxed gear. Generally the higher the number of offers the more accurate the suggested price.Īll of this of course only implies once you hit CP160. If there's only one random offer up on TTC at 50k the suggested price will say 50k, even if it's some low demand item nobody's buying. Of course sometimes the suggested price will be wonky if there's too few offers since it's an average of all prices. Or if you find a green quality briarheart dagger with the sharpened trait, it might not seem that impressive on its own but that weapon with that trait is used in a lot of stamina dps builds so it'll be in demand. Like let's say you snag a necklace of a mother's sorrow in epic quality from a dolmen in deshaan, you might have just sold or deconstructed it normally, but if you had ttc you might notice that it's a high demand item and you can get like 20k for it. Having the TTC (Tamriel Trade Centre) addon helps, it gives you a suggested price for any tradeable item you pick up.
